May 10 through the Summer
Following the worship and prayer events of Global Day or Prayer, there are opportunities for individuals and congregations to serve together.
Churches are encouraged to partner with one other church in at least one outreach:
• Churches may serve with one of the ministries opportunities, listed below, that the local GDOP team set up
• Churches may engage in an outreach that they are already planning
• Churches may want to create a “new” outreach
• Individuals are encouraged to serve “one on one”

• “Family Care Projects”: Ideas, plans, and testimonies on how to love and serve needy or distressed families in our community. Contact: Pastor Deanna Trujillo @ MetroNet Ministries ph# 746-6432 for more info. |

• “Lane Pregnancy Support”: Ministering to the unborn and their mothers (and fathers) with the Gospel, love and service. Has special needs lists & ideas for volunteers. Contact: Julie Nothwang @ ph# 485-8662 |

• “Child Evangelism Fellowship”: Trains the body of Christ to understand, serve and teach children in creative ways. You can host a 5 day neighborhood club in your home or church, a VBS, or a 5 day camp. You can host a Release Time Bible Study at your church from your neighborhood school. • “Loving and Serving Children and our Schools”: Learn how to serve our school districts, the teachers & school staff; as well as ways to minister to the children in your local school & neighborhoods. Learn how to put together a Children’s Wellness Fair, children’s park outreaches & misc. ideas…HEY! Save backpacks and School supplies to give to very needy kids: City Kids of Lane Co.; and there are many, many, many more organizations to reach out to! • “India Partners”: Partnering with the people of India in ministry by cultivating relationships, sharing resources, and encouraging self-sufficiency through the compassion and wisdom of Jesus Christ.
