In 2007, over two thousand people filled Eugene’s Civic Stadium for a wonderful afternoon of worship, praise and prayer.
Global Day of Prayer 2008 was held on May 10, from 4-6pm at Willamette Christian Center, for a powerful time of prayer and celebration. The Global Day of Prayer event began with upbeat worship led by a multi-church worship team. Between worship sets, pastors from throughout the region called the gathering to pray for breakthrough in many areas. The prayer time consisted of leaders directing prayer from the platform as well as the audience breaking into small groups to pray.
After the event, people can gather gathered together outside the church. Some of the 90 Days of Serving and Blessing projects were highlighted at various ministry booths. The 90 days of Serving and Blessing started Sunday, May 11, the day after the GDOP event, and some projects will continue continuing beyond the summer.
